Chart live Jira data
right on the
Confluence page.

Point a macro at a JQL search or a saved Jira filter, pick pie, donut, bar, stacked bar, or KPI, and the page renders a live chart. Every viewer sees it filtered to their own Jira permissions — never someone else's data.

How it works

From install to a live chart on a page in a couple of minutes — no dashboards to configure, nothing to connect beyond the macro itself.

Set it up

A one-time install, done from the Atlassian Marketplace.

  1. Open the listing on the Atlassian Marketplace and click Get it now.

Choose the Confluence site you want it on, and start the 30-day free trial. The app installs through Atlassian's Forge platform — there is no separate download.

  2. Insert the macro on a Confluence page.

Edit a page, place your cursor, and insert Bespoke Jira Chart from the / or + menu.

  3. Pick a search and a chart type.

Enter a JQL query or a saved filter ID, choose Pie, Donut, Bar, Stacked bar, or KPI, and pick a field to group by. A live preview updates as you go — click Save and the chart renders for every viewer.

What every viewer sees

The chart re-runs the search as the person viewing the page.

  1. Each viewer's own Jira permissions apply.

Two people looking at the same chart on the same page can see different totals and segments if their Jira project permissions differ. Nobody sees data they couldn't already see in Jira.

  2. No Jira access, no data.

A viewer without Jira access sees a friendly "Connect to Jira" card instead of a chart — never a broken macro or someone else's numbers.

  3. The chart stays current.

Every page load re-runs the search, so the chart reflects Jira right now — no manual refresh, no stale snapshot.

Frequently asked questions

What is Bespoke Jira Charts & Reports for Confluence?

It is a paid Atlassian Forge app that adds a Confluence macro for building charts from live Jira data. Point it at a JQL search or a saved Jira filter, pick a chart type, and the page renders a live pie, donut, bar, stacked bar, or KPI chart.

Does every viewer see the same chart?

No, and that is deliberate. Every time the chart loads, it re-runs the underlying Jira search as the person viewing the page, so each viewer sees only the work items they themselves can view in Jira. Two people can see different totals on the same chart.

Does it store my Jira data?

No. The app has zero storage. Jira data is fetched at view time, aggregated in memory, and discarded. The chart's configuration (search, chart type, grouping, colors) lives in the Confluence page's own macro parameters, covered by Atlassian's own storage.

What chart types are supported?

Pie, donut, bar, stacked bar, and a single KPI number. All are count-based — the app counts matching work items per group; it does not sum story points or other numeric fields in v1.

How much does it cost?

Free for up to 10 users. From $0.50 per user per month for 11-100 users, with volume discounts down to $0.10 per user per month above 10,000 users. Every paid tier includes a 30-day free trial through the Atlassian Marketplace.
